ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Once an order has been placed online, you cannot cancel the order, as goods are often shipped the same day. 

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Full-priced items are eligible for exchange or store credit. Please choose your items carefully, as refunds are only issued if the item(s) have a manufacturing defect and cannot be replaced. Unfortunately, subject to law we do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings, piercing jewellery, and gift cards. 

Conditions of Return:

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

- Item(s) is/are returned within 14 days of delivery

- Item(s) is/are returned are in a sellable condition: unworn, undamaged, and includes all of its original packaging.

- Item(s) is/are not purchased on sale or other promotional offers. All sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. 

- A $10 return shipping cost will be charged to and paid for by the customer (does not apply on faulty products).

Important Note: Items that do not meet the conditions outlined above, damaged due to normal wear and tear, or loss of jewellery pieces / parts are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

Manufacturing fault / defect:

This does not cover broken chains, chipped or cracked pearls or gemstones, general wear and tear, items that have been bent, twisted, snapped, oxidised, or show fading of the plating.

Fading on the plating after wearing will not be considered as faulty as plating can can chip or fade, particularly with high abrasion or exposure to sweat and lotions.

Earrings that are not closing properly or are fitting loosely during the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Please follow the instructions here to adjust your earrings.

Please note that slight variations in colour between website photos and the actual items you receive, as well as minor differences in gold plating or silver/titanium finishes between production batches, are not considered manufacturing faults.

If you receive a faulty item, please email us at deliberatelyplain@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery, including your order number and a photo of the fault. We will arrange a replacement immediately.

Return process:

1. Please ensure that your items are in their original, sellable condition before returning them. We cannot accept returns for items that have been worn or tampered with in any way.

2. To initiate a return, please email us at deliberatelyplain@gmail.com with the following details: your order number, the names of the items you wish to return, your preference for store credit or a product exchange, and your preferred date for the courier to collect the return.

3. We will respond to your email with the instructions, a return shipping label to use, and a link to book the courier.

4. Once we receive your returned order, we will process your request. Depending on your preference, you will receive an online store credit (valid for 12 months) or your exchange order will be shipped within 24 hours.
